We’ll all come inside and eat your brains

Long story short — we started out like this (click to view larger):

And ended up like this (click to view larger):

And if you’d like to see more pictures from the big Fremont Zombie Walk ‘09, then you should click the little jump below and oh boy howdy, shall you have more gruesome pictures. This has already cost me about half a dozen followers of this mirror-blog on LiveJournal, but “Go for broke!” That’s what I say.

Maybe they were actually eaten by zombies. Net- and LJ-savvy zombies.

It cost you friends? Man... have they read your books at all? :P

I dunno, this made you cooler in my eyes.

You took the words right out of my brain.

Oh, I dunno. They could've wandered off for just about any reason. :)

You must be kidding about the followers thing. How could such have thought of friending you in the first place if they weren't down with people (/you) dressing as zombie? 'n such?? Shakes head.

Almost nowhere here has a/c either and we've been needing it for too many days, now. I've had more icy coffee drinks from the evil empire this week than in my life this far I think. Sheesh! Happy 4th o American pal.

Nah, not kidding - but heaven knows why anyone ever comes or goes from here, frankly. It's not exactly high art I've got going on, eh? :)

We had oodles of fun though.
I think you would've enjoyed it :)

Well... maybe not *high* art .... :)

I'm sure I could have revamped my 'dead civil war soldier' with the moving wound and zombi-ed it up a bit. Yeah. Fun indeed!

Making up for at least one of those losses. I mean, zombies, how not?
As to how/why the follow, I found your main website first somehow, read your books, and kept reading your blog because, well, it's interesting. And sometimes there're pictures of a cat.

Wait, you had people--who I assume have read your books--unfriend you over this? That makes no sense whatsoever!

I just missed a zombie walk in NJ this spring and I'm sad about it. It was on the same day as my husband's birthday and he doesn't get the zombie thing. Crazy, huh?
